India vs Australia 2013 Test Series

India vs Australia Live Streaming

India vs Australia cricket series have always fascinated cricket fans as a series between these two countries always serves best quality of cricket. India was thumped hard last year when they visited Australia. India suffered a white wash and now India eyes an opportunity for revenge.

Better cricketers like Ponting, Dravid or Laxman who always proved vital during India vs Australia test series have already retired. Even a great batsmen like Sachin is now almost at the verge of ending his career looks out of form. A century in Irani trophy may turn his fortunes and forms and he would love to make this series an unforgettable one. We can say this could be his last test series against Australia.

Indian squad for first two test matches is already announced and the team members are as follows:
MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Sachin Tendulkar, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Ashok Dinda, Murali Vijay and Ishant Sharma

Gautam Gambhir has been dropped due to his poor run of form.  Shikhar Dhawan gets an opportunity to prove his worth. Gautam Gambhir will lead India A team against Australia for a practice match. If Gambhir can bat well in the practice match he would be a strong contender to make a return in third and fourth test match.

India has a lot of expectations from Sachin this time. Similarly a lot is expected from the likes of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Cheteshwar Pujara, Kohli, Harbhajan, etc. Indian team has looked out of sorts in the longer version of the game. Once number one test team for almost a year and a half has struggled to win test matches after 2011 world cup. India is currently the top team in ICC ODI rankings but has to climb a Mount Everest to top the ICC test rankings.

Australia has seen a lot of ups and downs in last two years of cricket. You may see them dominating the opposition in one series and in the other series you may see them losing badly. Clarke has proved himself a good captain and all he needs to concentrate now is on consistency of wins.

Australian squad for the test series is as follows:

David Warner, Ed Cowan, Phillip Hughes, Shane Watson, Michael Clarke (capt), Usman Khawaja, Steven Smith, Matthew Wade, Glenn Maxwell, Moises Henriques, Mitchell Johnson, James Pattinson, Mitchell Starc, Peter Siddle, Jackson Bird, Xavier Doherty, Nathan Lyon.

India vs England 4th Test - Can India create some magic?

India vs England 4th Test Live Streaming

India vs England 4th test live streaming will continue on Star Cricket and ESPN. Unexpected things have unfold in this series. After suffereing a four match white wash in England, Indian fans were expected a vengeance kind of cricket from the Indian team where India can get back to England with a white wash in return. But after England leveled the series in Mumbai, the whole perception changes. On the contrary it seems India is playing to save the series instead of winning it.

The fourth test match will be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. This ground holds a capacity of maximum 45,000 spectators. The first ever test match played here was between India and Australia in 2008. India registered a win by 172 runs. A noticeable performance came from the debutant Krejza who took 8 wickets in first innings and 4 in the second. This implies spinners would again have some support here in Nagpur.

The last test match played here was between India and New Zealand in 2010. India won this match with an even bigger win this time - an innings and 198 runs! New Zealand were bundled out for 193 runs in first innings. Ishant Sharma clinched 4 wickets and Ojha took three. In reply India scored 566 runs - a brilliant 191 runs innings from Dravid. He played for 573 minutes and faced 396 balls. New Zealand were again bowled out for 175.

Now it completely depends on India how hard can they bounce back and again win a match here! Couple of fancied batsmen viz. Kohli and Yuvraj have not been that impressive. Dhoni also looks out of form. Sachin needs to click in this series before the criticism for his retirement grows more and becomes unbearable for the little master. Sehwag continues his short stints of quick runs but fails to convert them into big ones. Gambhir's form looks shaky although he is trying his best to apply a good amount of focus. Pujara started this series with a dream come true performances but since the Mumbai  test he has failed miserably. He lacks consistency.

As far as the bowling department of India is concerned, the quick bowlers haven't impressed at all. Spinners have been impressive but in patches. They couldn't repeat the performances of England spinners who never disappointed their captain. They provided breakthroughs in Mumbai and Kolkata at regular intervals and never ever allowed Indian batsmen to settle.

A lot of pressure plus home expectations will play on Indian team's mind. All they need to do is forget what has happened in the past and give their best to earn a respectful result in this home test series.

A long wait for another grand event from ICC comes to an end and cricket fans can now be treated with T20 World Cup 2012! This is certainly the most covered ICC event world wide and hence the biggest event also to promote the great game of cricket. After interesting warm up matches with quality cricket now its time for the actual world cup to treat cricket fans.

Star Cricket will telecast T20 World Cup 2012 live in India. Star Sports, Star Cricket, ESPN will also telecast the matches live in countries like Bangladesh, China, Pakistan, Sri lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Hong Kong, etc. Fox Sports and Channel Nine will broadcast matches live in Australia. SABC and Supersport will telecast matches in South Africa. The list is pretty long and the coverage is the biggest ever in cricketing history.

Four groups comprising of three teams each are going to battle it out for the super eights followed by knock out stages! Sri lanka being the host of this tournament holds the upper hand with favourable home conditions and crowd support. They are easily the thirstiest team to win a T20 World Cup title as they have the best win ratio in World T20 matches. They lost to Pakistan in 2009 finals and were knocked out in semis in 2010.

Teams like South Africa, England and Pakistan are doing pretty well in T20 matches nowadays and they too are in the contention of winning this title. India has been the best team in Asia considering the recent results but T20 is a completely different ball game. Can they repeat the 2007 T20 world cup winning performance is a big question.

On the other hand Australia has slipped down badly in ICC T20 rankings and they can be very dangerous for the opponents. West Indies can come up as the biggest suprise with the likes of Narine, Powell and Gayle! Meanwhile we can expect upsets from New Zealand.

Latest cricket buzz - India vs Australia live streaming 2013 begins from 22 Feb.

India plays New Zealand in first T20 at Visakhapatnam

India vs New Zealand 2nd T20 Match

Update: India loses against New Zealand by one run.

New Zealand posted a stiff challenge for India in the second test. Victory for India didn't come the easier way like the first test. India had to struggle a bit to secure a win. It was Dhoni and Kohli who anchored the Indian innings to a victory in the second test or else New Zealand would have pulled a win to level the series.

Let us now move on to the shortest version of the game. T20 cricket - the form of this game which is currently in the maximum buzz due to the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup beginning this month. So teams like India and New Zealand have managed to sneak in couple of T20 matches as a preparation of T20 World Cup.

The first T20 match (out of the two match series) is to be played at Visakhapatnam. India has never won an International T20 match against New Zealand. So India would take this opportunity to open T20 winning account against New Zealand. Better form and home conditions will provide India an upper hand in the T20 series.

This match will relive the magic of IPL as players will have their feets on the accelerator while batting and bowlers will try their level best to restrict the opposition to small totals. Fielders would fly more to hold the ball and take the game to a next level. With likes of Taylor, McCullum, Kohli, Raina and many more T20 specialists to name, these two T20 matches are certainly going to be a treat to watch.

India aims for a white wash against New Zealand

India Vs New Zealand 2nd Test

If we check New Zealand's test performances in India, although they haven't won much but they always fought hard. Many times they dragged a match to draws and saved themselves from a loss. But this series brought us a match which was comprehensively won by India. Indian spinners took 18 out of 20 New Zealand wickets which purely showed that the visitors are not able to tackle the spin. This would be the biggest concern for them in the second test against India.

A demoralising loss in first test will be still playing on the visitors' minds. They need to forget it and play their best in the second test. They are well know for their fighting spirit. On the other hand Indian team would play for a win and a white wash. India is playing test cricket after a long time and that too after two disappointing tours to England and Australia. So a whitewash here would be a huge confidence booster for them in the longer version of cricket.

Indian batting did a good job with the likes of Pujara scoring 150 and other few contributing with fifties. Especially the youngsters now need to be consistent  as they have to fill the places of the greats Dravid and Laxman. Pujara did a brillaint job and so did Dhoni, Sehwag and Kohli. A much is expected from Gambhir and Sachin too here at Bangalore in the second test.

Indian spinners Ojha and Ashwin decimated New Zealand batting line up in the first test. Let us hope some more wickets from the quickies Zaheer Khan and Umesh Yadav. New Zealand bowling looked a bit out of rhythm. They bowled well but in patches. Consistency is the key. On the other hand their batting was purely disappointing. They need to play longer innings, longer partnerships so that they can score big. New Zealand is missing Daniel Vettori at this moment. As far as the batting is concerned, Guptil, McCullum, Taylor and others need to contribute big, if they have to showcase some resistance to the strong Indian team.

We may see a spin friendly dry track here at Bangalore which is again a threat for the visiting team. So this adds on to their pain. All and all, if it doesn't rain too much, India looks clear favourites to win this one.
